22 year old Canadian girl 🍁🏒
My name is Emilie Wonderland. Obviously this isn’t my actual name, but it’s the name I’m known by on many subreddits and by thousands of followers on my Reddit page. Gaining followers in a place as vast as Reddit is daunting. So I’m going to pass on some of the tips and tricks that helped me to be successful.
First, the most basic rule of thumb for anyone who wants to produce content, have fun! You have to feel confident and sexy to produce quality content. If you are unhappy when taking pictures, that will reflect in your content. Obviously we all have bad days, so take advantage of the good days. Personally, I will take advantage of any day that I feel sexy and take a lot of pictures in different outfits for the days that I don’t feel so hot. You don’t have to post everything at once so you can save the posts for later. Produce content for you, first and foremost. Take tons of pictures, you can always delete them later.
Finding the Subreddits:
Now you have pictures where you look and feel sexy and confident, question two, where do you post them? There is literally a subreddit out there for EVERYTHING. Girls in glasses, cosplay, milfs, big boobs, small boobs, just booty, Canadians; even specific cities have dedicated NSFW subreddits. Find your people! When starting out, post everywhere you feel like you belong. Eventually, you will find which subreddits work for you. When I started out, I posted on eight or nine subreddits. I now use three subs with regularity.
Subreddits Part 2:
Now, the two big rules to follow when joining and posting on various subreddits are to make sure you verify wherever you need to, and to avoid subs that require non-sellers/ amateurs only. Verifying is a little stressful because some subreddits do require nudity. My rule of thumb is that if you must verify in a subreddit, match the level of nudity that you plan to post on that sub.
For example, r/realgirls (my absolute favorite subreddit, but we will come back to that) requires verification. They require nude/semi nude photos for verification (specific rules can be found linked here https://www.reddit.com/r/RealGirls/wiki/verification). If you are planning to strictly post pictures of you in lingerie on this sub, send them pictures of you in lingerie. If you are planning to post full body nudes, send nude pictures in. This makes it safer for you as well. This means that if it ever comes into question whether you are actually the person posting, it’s very obvious.
The second rule is the tricky one. If you have ANY selling sites connected to your account, there are subreddits that will ban you. This includes any mention of selling in any form (links, posts, etc). You can have a separate Reddit account to post around the selling ban, however, you will have to verify on all accounts. Personally, I don’t find value in having the second account. It’s extra work to link to the account promoting your sold content, and many of the more popular subs don’t have a seller ban provided you don’t try to sell in those subreddits. Remember to always read the rules of individual subs before posting.
Subreddits Part 3:
Alright, now that we’ve covered the basics, here’s where I’m going to recommend some specific subreddits to try out. I personally prefer “smaller” subs for the most part, but some of the larger subs are perfect for newbies or people looking for Karma. You don’t want to post in subreddits that have very very few followers, but you run the risk of getting lost in the crowd while posting on the larger ones. Also, for every large subreddit out there, there is a less busy alternative where your content will stand out more.
Two of the bigger subs are gonewild and realgirls. R/gonewild (https://www.reddit.com/r/gonewild/). It’s a huge subreddit (3 million followers) so it’s super tempting. However, they do not allow sellers so you would require a burner account. The alternative is r/realgirls (https://www.reddit.com/r/RealGirls/). This sub has 2.1 million followers and is my absolute favorite to post in. They allow sellers provided you don’t advertise in the subreddit. Otherwise, the two subs are very similar. Personally, I do prefer r/realgirls, but everyone has an opinion. Below are some of my other favorite subreddits that I totally recommend checking out!
- r/bigboobsgw (https://www.reddit.com/r/BigBoobsGW/) – this one is pretty self explanatory! They don’t require verification but make sure you’ve got enough on your profile to back up it’s you as they only allow original content.
- r/chubby (https://www.reddit.com/r/chubby/) – this subreddit is dedicated to chubby women! They’re well moderated and a great sub if you fall into a “chubby” category
- r/gonemild (https://www.reddit.com/r/GoneMild/) – this subreddit has no nudity! Everything must be mild, so it’s a great place to post sexy pics that don’t actually show anything
- r/curvy (https://www.reddit.com/r/curvy/) – This is a great sub for any women with curves! It’s extremely well moderated and has a good amount of followers
Quantity Vs Quality:
The really great thing about Reddit, is that because you can post in multiple subreddits, multiple times of day, you can quickly build up a massive log of posts. When first starting, quantity over quality. Even blurry pictures can get upvotes and followers. All it takes is one post to catch someone’s eye and lead them to your profile. This will show them all your content. I always go through and delete posts I don’t like afterwards. It’s better to produce the content, and start getting known and recognized then disappear from people’s mind. Gaining followers and being successful is all about traffic to your page. So yeah, post that slightly blurry boob shot, might not be your cup of tea, but there’s tons of people on the internet.
Once you start gaining followers, upvotes, comments, messages, whatever you’re looking for on Reddit, get pickier with your content. In the meantime, post as much as you’re allowed. Each subreddit will tell you how many of their followers are online, so you’ll always have an idea of how many people could potentially see your post. Use this as a guide for where to post your pictures. If there are 2000 people online in r/realgirls and 500 on r/bigboobsgw, I’ll post my higher quality image where it will be visible to more people.
There are tons of tips and tricks to getting upvotes and appealing to the masses, but this should be enough to get you started. Good luck and always remember, have fun and stay sexy!
